E.B. White Open Mic

Celebrate E.B. White’s birthday with us! Visit the FAINT ENDEAVOR, a sailing dinghy once owned by White, and enjoy our exhibits about the quintessential Maine boat, the peapod. 3pm to 5pm, enjoy special children’s activities and participate in reading excerpts from Charlotte’s Web. 5pm to 6:30pm, listen to fans read their favorite E. B. White passages, from his New Yorker days to his classic children’s tales. Bring your own favorite reading and a picnic dinner and join in the fun! Free, with a $5 suggested admission price.
