Spend quality time together and connect with nature in this hands-on, heart centered workshop, where parents and children team up to create a butterfly and bird friendly garden and practice a little mindfulness along the way. Together you’ll plant flowers and herbs that invite birds, butterflies, and pollinators into your space once you get home. Learn how to build a simple backyard habitat and why it matters. Explore gentle gardening skills that encourage teamwork and care for the Earth. Practice fun, kid-friendly mindfulness techniques to help both grown-ups and little ones slow down, breathe and enjoy the moment. This joyful experience blends creativity, learning, and relaxation and is perfect for families who want to get their hands in the soil and their hearts in sync. Each pair will take home 17 seed varieties, a field guide and notes, a garden stake, and directions to plant your garden and create memories rooted in connection. This workshop is designed for children ages ~5 to 10 and they’re grown-up companions. All materials are provided. Just bring your curiosity and love for nature. $20 per child/parent team.
