Exploring the world of Bats!

Join us! Jon Townsend, PhD, will speak about the relationship that bats have with plants locally and globally. Bats provide key services for plants like pollination, seed dispersal, nutrient cycling, and control of pests. The program will also feature a live demonstration of bat surgery equipment using an ultrasound microphone (9:15-9:30), so come prepared for a night walk if you want to take part in this portion of the event!
