Junk Journaling Workshop

Make an artistic and personalized journal out of scrap paper and junk mail. Students will learn the basics of how to make pockets, flip-outs, and how to sew a bookbinding signature, as well as be introduced to the many creative possibilities found in the world of junk journaling.

What’s included:

Limited scrap paper
Needle and thread
Glue

What’s not included:

Students should begin collecting paper, including junk mail and envelopes, grocery lists, notebook paper, scrapbook paper, etc. You’ll need this for the workshop!

If you have a paper cutter, feel free to bring it, but it is not needed. Scissors will be provided.
