Weβre excited to help promote and support this sensory-friendly experience hosted by the Douglas County Autism Tribe!

π Kelly Moore Park (South of the Pavilion)
ποΈ Free Event
This event offers children, especially those with sensory sensitivities, the chance to safely explore police cars, fire trucks, and other service vehicles without loud sirens or overwhelming lights. Itβs a calm and inclusive environment where touch and exploration are encouraged, and families can connect and play at their own pace.
𧩠Children will also receive sensory swag and resources to support their needs.
Just as important, this event also helps educate first responders on how to recognize and appropriately respond to incidents involving neurodiverse or non-speaking children.
Together, weβre building a more inclusive, understanding, and connected community. β€οΈ
