Intro to Acrylics
Instructor Nancy Riecken
Wednesday, September 10 | 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
Painting with acrylics runs the gamut of realism to abstract surrealism. Whether you want to draw a tree, a landscape, or an imaginative image that only you can decipher, this workshop will help you explore the many uses of acrylic on canvas, wood, and handmade papers. We'll practice background construction with a variety of tools, using basic acrylic paints and applying other elements in and on the paints. Yes, it's a bit involved, but it's even more fun! Come with your own ideas of what you want to put on canvas, wood, or paper. You'll take home your own version of "art," which is what it takes to start down the path of exploration and creativity.
Skill Level: Beginner
Age: 15+
Member Rate: $50
Non-Member Rate: $65
Material Fee: All materials included!
Registration Deadline: September 3
