We're excited to kick off another incredible marching band season! Band camp is a vital time for students to learn music and drill, build teamwork, and set the tone for a successful year. Please read the following information carefully to ensure a smooth and productive camp experience.
Band Camp Schedule:
Dates: August 4-8
FRIDAY WILL END EARLIER WITH A PERFORMANCE TBD
Time: 9:00am-5:00pm (Breakfast will be served from 8am-9am)
Location: Hudson High School
Who Attends: All high school marching band members, including color guard and percussion. 7 th/8 th grade band members must be invited or approved by Mrs. Bough-Newcomb.
Cost: $40 this includes a T-Shirt, instructional leaders and lunch every day!
What to Bring:
Instrument (in working condition)
Music, flip folder, lyre,reeds,etc.
Pencil
Water bottle (refillable)
Comfortable athletic clothes and shoes (no sandals or flip-flops)
Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses
Students can bring their own lunch.
Bring water bottles and snacks to share for the week.
Wear comfortable TIE shoes and be prepared to be sized for your marching uniform.
Important Reminders:
Attendance is mandatory for all band members unless previously approved.
Come prepared to be outside and active-hydration and sun protection are essential.
Be respectful, responsible, and ready to learn-band camp sets the foundation for our entire season.
