Sherwood at Elgin Western Days Parade

Join us for the Elgin Western Days Parade! We'll be staged somewhere near Elgin Elementary on the corner of 2nd and 11th street - the float will be staged in line with the rest of the floats.

Please come in full garb, including a hat - and no sodern things like sunglasses, cigarettes or modern shoes. Please bring a faire-appeopriate drinking-vessell, and please wear sunblock. We'll have water.


If you want to help decorate the float, you can arrive as early as 8AM. We have a new version of the Dragon Float, so we could sure use your help!
Please come before 9AM because
Judging starts for floats then.
Parade starts moving at 10AM. we should be done and everyone back to their vehicles by 11:30.



Please come in complete garb (hats and period appropriate drinking vessels). Don't forget to wear your sunscreen.
