About K.K. Fox – Writer, Editor, and Educator

K.K. Fox is a Nashville-based writer, editor, and teacher whose work spans fiction, education, and literary publishing. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in Teaching from the University of Memphis, where she also served as managing editor of River City Magazine (now The Pinch). Her fiction has appeared in Iron Horse, Nelle, Joyland, Kenyon Review Online, Tupelo Quarterly, and other notable journals.

Fox’s accolades include winning the Memphis Magazine Short Story Competition and being named a finalist or semi-finalist for prizes from Iron Horse Literary Review, Third Coast, Tupelo Quarterly, Zoetrope, and Story Magazine. She has participated in leading writers' residencies and conferences, including the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, The Kenyon Review Writers Workshop, and the Hambidge Center.

She teaches Literature, Composition, and Creative Writing at Austin Peay State University and currently serves as the fiction editor for The Los Angeles Review.
