Join us Saturday, August 2nd, 10 AM–4 PM at Hillside for a vibrant celebration of the art and culture of Wisconsin’s First People, presented in partnership with Little Eagle Arts Foundation (LEAF).
Meet and shop from LEAF’s talented roster of Native artists showcasing a diverse array of traditional and contemporary crafts, including paintings, jewelry, black ash baskets, quill and beadwork, and more.
Featured Artists:
Dawn Dark Mountain (Oneida) – Award-winning painter with works in national museums
Wasson Renee Dillard (Little Traverse Band of Odawa) – Award-winning weaver and 2022 Community Spirit award recipient
Wade Fernandez (Menominee) – Internationally acclaimed musician and educator
Chef Elena Terry (Ho-Chunk) – Award-winning chef and founder of Wild Bearies, offering ancestral food samples
Additional Artists Include: Christopher Sweet, Karen Ann Hoffman, Leah Winneshiek, Scott Hill, Gene Delcourt, Terri O’Connor, Kimberly Crowley, Jesse Blackdeer, and more.
