Los Angeles: Protest the Exploitation of Wildlife at the LA Pet Fair!

Join animal advocates to protest the L.A. Pet Fair, which hosts the Reptile, Bird, and Aquatic Super Shows, where a variety of wild animals are exploited on display and sold to the public.
No animal should be used, sold, or treated as a commodity. Every day, breeders make a killing at traveling wild animal trade shows—convention centers are packed with breeders who exhibit, for example, reptiles crammed into plastic containers and for sale to the general public. Customers only see the healthiest, most sellable animals and are often hyped into buying animals they are in no way prepared to care for, which is of little concern to many sellers. Often, animals sold by these breeders develop health problems and rapidly deteriorate.
Animal advocates will be urging attendees to think about the cruelty hidden within these expositions, and encouraging them to not purchase any wild animals.
