The Blaine Library is pleased to announce our spring exhibition of local artists: Kay Dee Powell and Motoko Lewis
Kay Dee Powell is a co-creator and past president of Blaine Arts Council, and her passion is to promote art and artists in our community. A life-long learner, Powell loves to play, to experiment, to create. Her paintings are inspired by her love of color and nature's abundance.
Motoko Lewis feels that her true language is drawing and likes to draw from live sources whenever possible. She believes that emotion reveals itself from the lines and smudges, creating an atmosphere beyond the paper.
Exhibits will be on display at the Blaine Library during library open hours, from April through the end of June.
