Sensible Shoes presents an irresistible mix of dance floor grooves from rock and blues classics and thoughtful songwriting, blending songs drawn from blues, country, soul, folk, Motown and New Orleans r & b with originals you'll find yourself singing. ASCAP Award-winning songwriters, Sensible Shoes has placed music in several motion pictures, among them, “Philadelphia,” and “The Manchurian Candidate.” Sensible Shoes has recorded an album of original material in Wellfleet, MA produced by Johnny Spampinato and featuring Joey Spampinato of NRBQ.

Barbara Blaisdell, piano and vocals; singer/songwriter/keyboard player for Sensible Shoes; ASCAP award-winning songwriter
Joey Spampinato, bass and vocals; NRBQ, The Spampinato Brothers; World famous bassist and songwriter; Keith Richard’s choice for The Rolling Stones.
Tim Utt, guitar and vocals; Lead and rhythm guitarist for Sensible Shoes; recorded original tracks with outstanding musicians including Jon Fishman, Eric Bibb, Jennifer Hartswick,, Chuck Eller, Kami Lyle and Johnny and Joey Spampinato.
Kami Lyle, trumpet, keyboards, vocals; national recording artist; songwriter, lead singer, Berklee graduate, trumpet and keyboard player. She’s the greatest!
Jerome Deupree, original drummer for the band Morph*ne; prolific Boston-based player and session drummer.
