The Science of Calm

I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates!
This April, I had the honor of presenting on Stress Management and Nervous System Regulation at the MSCVPR Annual Conference—a talk rooted in the same content that earned our team the AACVPR Linda K. Hall Innovation Award last fall.
Originally created for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients, I’ve since adapted this content into engaging, accessible workshops for anyone seeking practical tools to manage stress.
Most of us already know we should eat better and exercise more—but that advice can feel overwhelming when you're already stretched thin. My workshops take a different approach: simple, actionable techniques you can use anywhere, anytime, including:
✨ Breathwork to calm the nervous system
✨ Gentle muscle movements to release tension
✨ Acupressure protocols to ease stress on the spot
And now, I’m bringing this experience to the community!
Join me on Saturday, July 19 at Apothica Teas in Niles for a special 90-minute workshop:
🧠 The Science of Calm: A Nervous System Workshop
We'll explore the stress response in an interactive, relaxing setting—complete with tea, treats, a curated goodie bag, and tools you can take home and use right away.
Spots are limited—reach out to reserve yours!
