Eco-restoration Workday at Illinois Beach State Park **Bonus event afterwards**

This coming Saturday, volunteers will continue more conservative species monitoring, invasive species management, and the last seasonal windows for tree girdling.
But wait there's more!
Right after the workday, the restoration group is hosting an art day at the Nature Center at 12:30 pm. This will be led by Sandra Kooper, an artist who loves nature and will talk about her experience with nature journaling and urban sketching. All you need to bring for this activity is paper, pencil and an eraser.
We'll meet at the Nature Center parking lot a few minutes before 9 am, and work until about noon. Bring a snack to share if you'd like. All are invited to come learn, lead, and make a difference!
