Come join us at Làmhan on four consecutive Sunday afternoons for a fun-filled sewing session with your little ones. No experience needed, just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
Our cozy venue provides the perfect setting for parents and children to bond over sewing projects. You will learn a new skill and spend quality time together without any technology or pressure, just some fabric, thread and a needle.
Sunday 6th July,. 2.00pm - 4.00pm
Introduction to Kawandi quilt making
We will be learning about the Kawandi quilt making technique. We will stick down squares and rectangles of fabric on to a larger backing piece, then we will add simple running stitches in embroidery thread to quilt the fabrics together. Our participants will leave with a small sampler of their work which can be used decoratively at home.
