Free E-Waste Collection & Recycling
9am- 1pm Saturday September 6th @ Howe Park 2201 Cottage Way
FEC has partnered with the Sacramento Regional Conservation Corps (SRCC) to offer a FREE
E-waste collection & recycling event for the Arden Arcade area. SRCC is a state approved collector of e-waste & takes all was to a CLEAR facility. CLEAR is a state approved recycler and completely shreds all hard drives at its securely monitored facility. All proceeds will be donated to Friends of FEC to benefit FECRPD Children's programs
WE WILL ACCEPT:
Monitors, television, desktop & notebook PCs, VCRs, stereo equipment, speakers, keyboards, mice, PDAs, digital cameras, zip drives, telephones, cell phones, printers, copiers, laser & multifunction scanners & fax machines, small household appliances such as toasters, mixers & blenders and vacuum cleaners with dust bag removed. CLEAR completely shreds all hard drives.
WE CANNOT ACCEPT:
Large household appliances, furniture, hazardous household waste including batteries, solar panels, car batteries, paint, pesticides, used oil, cleaning supplies,
fluorescent bulbs, water heaters, tires etc.
