BIG BAND SUNDAY is JULY 20th with Moonlight Swing

Big Band Sunday July 20th, 2025 from 7-9 pm featuring Moonlight Swing Living History Big Band at The Carmichael Elks Lodge 5631 Cypress Ave., Carmichael, CA 95608.

SUMMERTIME IS IN FULL SWING .. What better way to beat those high temperatures than by dancing the night away or listening to the music of Moonlight Swing Living History Big Band. In an effort to overcome the HEAT of the season Moonlight Swing will play the COOL tunes that made the Big Band era of the 1940's so popular. Moonlight Swing will recreate the sights and sounds of the Glenn Miller band of WW II by performing favorites like In the Mood, String of Pearls, Pennsylvania 6-5000, and many more. In honor of our brave servicemen and women the band will be attired in their vintage military uniforms. Make it your plan to enjoy a slice of history while you dance your troubles away. A modest donation of $10/person gets you in the door starting at 6:30 pm. The fun starts at 7 pm so get there early for the best seating. Beverage service is available for purchase.
