The King of Screams | Ravencraft's Vault of Horror | July 10

We like to think of the past as simpler times. But all generations have had challenges, innovations, and big problems for their day. People have always been in need of escape. People like William Castle, Roger Corman, and even Ed Wood, created these opportunities for people to disconnect from the pressures of life and sit together in a darkened room for some thrills. At Ravencraft’s Vault of Horror, horror movies are whatever the hell we say they are. This month, we are taking a step back and enjoying a light look at what it was like to be under the world’s pressures and in need of distraction, and what it was like to bring people those distractions. Come have fun with a rarer gem that we are calling The King of Screams.

We have also managed to get hold of the film within a film that is part of this movie, so we’ll be looking at that before the main feature. Wear your summer comfort clothes and come celebrate how we can all escape with a few screams and some laughter. Pass the lemonade!
