Piki Maunga Rangatahi (Big Mountain Youth) is an opportunity for our future free-ski and free-ride competitors to showcase and fine tune their skills on off-piste terrain.
This year the event format has changed and will include an expression session which is a judged run down the Arcadia Chutes and a speed and style run from the Arcadia ridge line back down towards the Whitestar chairlift and goldrush trail.
The Speed and style will be timed then combined with the expression session to determine the results. Line, Fluidity, Technique, Air and style are the criteria used for judging the expression session.
Pre-registration is available online at https://cardrona-treblecone.com/events or at any of Cardrona’s 3
ticket offices. Entries may not be accepted on the day, please help us avoid crowds and enter online. Entry
is $35, with a discounted child’s lift pass for $70. Parent passes are $135 and available during registration.
