Frankland River Winter Field Walk

Join Kate Trezise and Nick Poole to take a look at the phenology differences of a selection of winter and spring wheats and barleys and spring milling oats that were established at three different times of sowing (9th April, 28th April and 20th May). The plots are part of a two-year GRDC investment ‘NGN – Crop Phenology Investigation’ following the one-year pilot project run in the Esperance and Albany port zones in 2024. This informal field walk will provide valuable context for our upcoming Spring Field Day on 11th September.​
