Sunday Times bestselling author, Sophie Irwin will mark the arrival of her third regency romance novel, How to Lose a Lord in Ten Days, with a launch event at Castle Gardens.
In association with Winstone’s Books, The Gardens Group will host this free event in The Butterfly House at Castle Gardens.
Daughter of The Gardens Group’s owners, Mike and Louise Burks, Sophie will introduce this hilarious historical novel, which sees Miss Lydia Hanworth pressured into accepting a proposal from the wealthy and titled Lord Ashford. She has ten days to break off the engagement before it's publicly announced, aiming to avoid a disastrous marriage.
Tickets are free and available from Winstone’s Books on Cheap Street in Sherborne and at Castle Gardens.
Doors open at 6pm and free refreshments will be provided by The Walled Garden Restaurant.
