This wonderful exhibition is on the Newtown Library, Park Street. (Check opening times)
The Exhibition travels through the wonderful life of Newtown Born - Robert Owen and marks the 200th Anniversary of Robert Owen purchasing 20,000 acers of land in New Harmony, Indianna, USA.
On Thurs 1st May Newtown residents had a LIVE ZOOM link with New Harmony for over an hour and amongst the speakers was a descendant of Robert Owen. It was wonderful to speak to each other, I'm sure there will be many more opportunities too.
