Our Open Days are designed for:
✔️ Young people (from age 8) and adults with learning or physical disabilities, mental health needs, or related support needs, including those unsure of their next steps after school or college
✔️ Social workers, care homes, and providers looking for local support options
✔️ Home educators seeking enriching experiences for their children
✔️ Families exploring social and activity-based opportunities
✔️ School representatives interested in arranging a school trip
📅 Dates: Various (see individual events)
📍 Venue: Made-Well CIC, West Fishleigh Farm, Hatherleigh, Devon, EX20 3QA
⏰ Tour Times: 10am - 2pm (site open 9am - 4pm)

Our café, inclusive playground, and gardens will be open, and our site is fully wheelchair accessible, with a Changing Places toilet and a sensory room (available for hire).

Made-Well is a not-for-profit community interest company established in August 2007. We support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health conditions and those suffering isolation and loneliness. Made-Well provides enabling support, community outreach, 1:1 support, education, and learning.
We provide opportunities such as curriculum enriching school trips, supported work experience, alternative timetables, transition support, path facilitation and enabling and support for young people and adults to be involved in a range of meaningful activities such as leisure, hobbies, life skills, cooking, woodwork, gardening, crafts, animal care, enterprise, supported holidays, community experiences, camping and so much more.
We can offer 1-1 or group support and we tailor our offer to individual needs.
We can provide enabling onsite and outreach in the community.
Currently people aged 15 and over can access Made-Well provision unsupported, people over 12 can access Made-Well with support and we are developing our own in-house youth provision which will allow young people to attend, this will be accessed on a case-by-case basis.
We can support you to explore funding streams to access Made-Well such as commissioned support, personal budgets, direct payments, private referrals and EHCP funding.
