Still life, still lovely : a still life painting workshop.
Come join professional artist, Lucy Dewsnap (otherwise known as BearSuit) for a fun and creative afternoon at the BHF Priory Centre! In this workshop, you’ll have the chance to explore your artistic side and learn the art of still life painting. Students will be supported in making their own still life arrangements and learning technical elements of composition, lighting and colour. We will begin with a series of quick studies in different mediums Leading onto a longer study where help will be given through demonstrations and one to one support. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned painter, this event is perfect for anyone looking to unleash their creativity and take some time for themselves. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to discover the joy of painting in a relaxed, accessible and friendly environment. Everything you need to take part in this course will be provided however, if you wish to bring your own materials this is welcome.
