This deeply nurturing 90-minute treat is designed to lengthen and release tired muscles and quieten busy minds.

We will start with a short breathing practice and guided meditation whilst we sip a carefully selected tea and allow its relaxing effects to sink in.

We will then move into a gentle yoga practice designed to β€œrestore” the body to its parasympathetic nervous system function, which, in turn, helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance.

The postures will be floor based and held for a longer time than in a movement-based classes which helps elicit the relaxation response. This response can help slow breathing, reduce blood pressure, and produce a feeling of calm and increased well-being.

We will also use props such as blocks, bolsters and blankets to support the body to stay comfortable in poses for longer.

Suitable for all levels.
