Explore the foundations of Ashtanga yoga in a clear, supportive space.

Curious about Ashtanga or looking to understand your practice more deeply? This two hour workshop is a chance to slow things down, ask questions and build confidence.

We’ll begin with a guided 45 minute class, then take time to explore the key elements that make the practice so powerful, including breath, focus, and inner strength. You’ll learn how to connect movement with breath, what bandha (core support) and drishti (gazing point) really mean, and how they support you on and off the mat.

We’ll also break down some of the trickier postures step by step — including Chaturanga, the standing twists, and seated postures like Marichyasana — with clear guidance and time to explore at your own pace.

Perfect if you’re new to Ashtanga, coming back to practice after time away, or simply want to reconnect with the subtleties.
