Clothes Swap and Stitch

Have you got any good quality clothes that you no longer like, or they no longer fit? Perhaps they are new/nearly new and a bit too good to go to the charity shop? Or do you have well loved items that you don't want to ditch, but are in need of a stitch, mend or upcycle? If this sounds like clothes in your wardrobe then why not bring them along to the Os Climate Action Hub Clothes Swap and Stitch! Bring up to 10 good quality clothes to share and exchange with your community. Find out more about stitching techniques that can extend the life of our clothes as well as creating something unique. By normalising sharing and mending, and having fun doing it, we can come together on our high street and create a slow fashion culture, a sustainable alternative to the unethical, planet destroying practises of fast fashion. Free drinks and cake will be available. This is a free and inclusive event, but if you are able to donate to help keep the hub running there will be donation tins on the stall. Hope you can join us! 💚
