Alrewas Open Gardens Weekend

Its nearly here, our special 31st Alrewas Open Gardens Weekend. 28th & 29th June. We have 32 venues/gardens and so much going on to celebrate our lovely village. Our theme is 'Birds & Bugs' so look out for our theme related Treasure Hunt for the children. Just a few of our activities:

*Some traditional and some very modern gardens for you to see
*Scrummy homemade cakes and refreshments at All Saints Church
*All our lovely, friendly and supportive garden hosts
*Alrewas Island open for willow walks
*Alrewas Jubilee Meadow open for relaxation and nature
*Tamworth Hedgehog rescue with some of the inmates
*Rykneild Rabble Morris Dancing from 2 pm on Saturday
*Lovely relaxing music in our church on Sunday
*Family centred Tombola at our refreshment venue
*Plus lots more on both Saturday and Sunday.

Entry to gardens is by our programme £5 per person, children under 16 are free. It includes a comprehensive map of all our venues. Programmes are now available to purchase in the village from Coates Traditional Butchers and The Bank Coffeehouse. Our free car park will be on the Walkfield open from 11.30 each day, just follow the signs within the village and we have Blue Badge parking available at All Saints Church, on Church Road.
