Sitting on Saturn, is a San Diego, California-based rock/alternative band with a ska/surf vibe that formed in 2013. The band consists of original members Hoyt Yeatman (lead vocals/guitar), Kyle Hart (bass/vocals) and Trevor Smith (drums). Their song, “Chest Hair” cracked 1 million Spotify streams in 2019 as buzz grew. The band turned to TikTok, posting covers on the platform. Joe Jonas found them and not only offered them a deal to Republic, but an opening spot on Jonas Brothers’ massive 2021 tour. After gathering millions of streams independently and attracting everyone from Joe Jonas to Fat Mike of NOFX to their corner, the band properly introduced themselves with their most recent single “This Summer’s Day.” They’re known for their high-energy live performances and are putting out a new single March 18th.
