Mozart - Gran Partita

The final concert of our Summer Chamber Music series takes place on Sunday 6 July, and features just one work - Mozart’s immortal Serenade for 13 Wind Instruments, Gran Partita. A true gem of the wind repertoire, the Gran Partita is full of charm, warmth and colour. It showcases each instrument beautifully and is the ideal piece to close the summer series.
Join us for a wonderful afternoon of music-making, a complimentary slice of cake and an opportunity to talk to the musicians afterwards, and also for the opportunity to say thank you and goodbye to Andrew Muir, clarinettist and driving force within the RTWSO for many years, who will be stepping down after this performance.
Our Summer Chamber Concerts are free of charge, with a retiring cash collection.
