ACAP Winston-Salem is hosting a free, in-person educational program titled "Technology To Keep Your Parents Safe and Engaged" on Tuesday, July 15th at 5:30pm at the Highland Presbyterian Church Activity Building in Winston-Salem, NC.
In the past decade, there have been significant advances in technology to help older adults stay safe and engaged with their families and community. Biomedical devices, home automation, home computers, tablets and smart phones, and assistive technology all provide a new and ever-changing world that continues to offer opportunities and challenges relative to an older population and their supports. This program will offer participants information about the variety of current and cutting-edge technology designed to ensure the safety and engagement of older loved ones and peace-of-mind for their families.
