Nightjar and Bat Walk

Regrettably, we had no luck last month on our evening to look or listen for bats and the mysterious Nightjar. There are definitely Nightjars around now so, weather permitting, we'll try again. Please note the later start time - 9.30 pm in the car park.
We have sophisticated bat detectors that pick up their ultrasound signals, make them audible and hopefully identify the species. We'll listen for the Nightjar as darkness falls and maybe see them flying over the moor hunting for moths or displaying.
We'll meet at the World Heritage Centre car park and drive to Llanover Road to start our search. An easy, slow walk on the road. Bring insect repellent!
The event is free and there is no need to book.
