Ragwort Pulling at UEA
Advertisement
Hi everyone,
Hope you're all keeping well in the sunshine! It's still so dry but plants are trying to grow and the ragwort is beginning to pop up and flower so now would be good time to dig some up on the meadows.
For newbies - we're pulling the ragwort so that we can cut the meadows for hay at the end of summer. Ragwort is toxic to livestock so we have to remove it before cutting to make it safe.
I think it might be heating up again for the weekend so we'll start a bit earlier to avoid the midday heat! Details below.
If you're free to join then please drop me an email to let me know π
