Post-work Peeble's Island Paddle

It's predicted to be a hot one this week, let's cool off by paddling around Peebles Island. This area offers some beautiful sunset pictures and is a great place to view wild life, to include the resident bald eagle. There's also a medium sized water fall behind peebles we can paddle too. Bring a PFD, water, snacks, sunscreen and a flashligth/head lamp (recommended).
The plan is to meet at the Waterford Boat launch and we can paddle to the falls behind Peebles Island and/up the Hudson. Be mindful of boat traffic and stay out of boat channel when paddling on the Hudson River proper.
There is a rental, that I'll add the link to, but I've never used them before. I have a spare PFD and lights if anyone needs them.
I will be on a Stand Up Paddleboard with a bright green life vest.
As of right now, Thursday is looking to be overcast/low chance of rain. Be on the lookout for cancellations due to thunderstorms/heavy rain as the weather has been interesting this year. I'll try cancelling a few hours from them the event should that be the case.
