It’s the hometown of James Dean—one of the coolest actors of all time. He went to high school right here. After his tragic passing, Dean became the first actor ever nominated for an Oscar after his death… and he's still the only one with two posthumous acting nominations.

We’re keeping the legacy of cool alive—Mike & Joe will be playing at the James Dean Memorial Stage on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, from 7 PM to 9 PM, at Play Acres Park (300 E Madison St, Fairmount, IN).

Bring a lawn chair, some friends, and we’ll bring the music.
