Tai Chi Chuan, also known as Taichi or Taijiquan, is a gentle, slow-motion exercise that combines elements of meditation, martial arts, and deep breathing. It's a mind-body practice that promotes mindfulness, balance, and overall well-being

Tai Chi Chuan has roots in ancient Chinese cosmology and philosophy, drawing on concepts like Yin and Yang, the Five Elements, and Daoist philosophy. Tai Chi is traditionally attributed to Zhang Zanfeng, a legendary Daoist monk who lived in the 12th or 15th century. He said he developed the style after observing a snake and crane fight. While it originated as a martial art, it's now widely practiced for its health benefits.
