Meech & Mingle

Join us for another Meech & Mingle! This is a relaxed social swim that welcomes open water swimmers of a variety of skill levels. We’ll swim a minimum of 800m, and are expecting water temperatures between 21-24 degrees. Weather looks to be possibly rainy. The swim will go ahead unless the weather is dangerous (e.g. a torrential downpour, thunderstorms or winds more than 30km/h). Bring a tow float and a brightly coloured cap to wear (required for all NCC open water swimming). Meet at the beach at 6:30pm, and feet in the water at 6:45pm sharp. Paid parking is at P11, just make sure to leave yourself about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. Bring a snack to share for after the swim. We’ll stay and chat for a bit as long as the bugs don’t eat us alive! 😁
