June "Artist of the Month" / Bryan Martz

The Millersburg Area Art Association is pleased to announce that metal artist/sculptor Bryan Martz is the Featured Artist for the Month of June at the Gallery on the Square.
Bryan was raised in Dalmatia and attended Line Mountain High School. He graduated from Susquehanna University with a bachelor's degree in Business Management, specializing in Marketing.
Despite having a limited artistic background, Bryan’s emphasis in marketing and advertising helped fuel his creative repertoire.
Often working with repurposed and recycled metal, he is a “found” artist. Found artist sculptures are made from materials not “intended” for the use of art. Many of the individual metal components are recognizable, or found, within his sculpture. With an endless array of materials, his work is not always limited to one style.
Most of Bryan’s recent work has been commissions. However, you can find “Martz Metal Arts” at the Sunbury Station in Sunbury, the Gallery on the Square in Millersburg, Wheel of Light Studio in Halifax, and Gallery 304 in Selinsgrove.
Bryan currently resides with his family in Rebuck.
