Just beyond the shimmering lights of Hollywood Boulevard and the gritty pulse of the Sunset Strip, Laurel Canyon stood as a sanctuary for the dreamers, the rebels, and the artists. It was a magnet for hippies and visionaries from all corners of the world. By the time the 1970s rolled in, the Canyon had become a musical Eden, where creativity thrived and harmonies flourished. The air was alive with the iconic sounds of Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Neil Young, Carole King, James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, America, The Byrds—all of whom made this magical enclave their home.
California Dreamin’ features the fabulous vocal harmony trio The Beggars. They have recorded 7 albums, made multiple tours of Europe and become a regular feature on the Australian touring circuit.
