Christian Speaker Series: Fr. Bashar of Taybeh to Visit RI

Local church leaders within the Southern New England Conference of the United Church of Christ are pleased join other New England faith groups to welcome parish priest Fr. Bashar Fawadleh, of Christ the Redeemer Church in Taybeh, Palestine, to Newman Church, in East Providence, RI on June 27 at 7:00 p.m. as part of a larger series of talks with Fr. Bashar including with the Massachusetts Council of Churches, and area Catholic churches. This event on June 27 will also be live-streamed at www.youtube.com/newmanucc.

We'll seek to explore the challenges and opportunities of Fr. Bashar’s community in the context of Christian communities gathering to learn from one another.
