Memories of China I Photographs by Yan Pirotta

Join us throughout the month of June for 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚, 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐲 𝐛𝐲 𝐘𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐚. Follow in the footsteps of young Maltese photographer, Pirotta with his trusty X-T3 as he explores new haunts in this most vibrantly chaotic of cities. Using random stops on the Beijing metro system, Pirotta returns again and again to his favourite part of the city – the ‘Hutongs’ where he trains his lens on the people, architecture and the more abstract expressions of city life.
