Hive to Honey Bee Event

Hive to Honey Bee Program on Saturday, Aug 16th from 11am-1pm. Included with membership and admission.B.M. Dooney Farms Live Hive Program is put on by beekeepers Arden Haynes & Marnie Erin. Children will safely examine the inner workings of a LIVE honeybee colony through a window into the beehive. This program will provide participants the opportunity to taste local honey, followed by a beehive painting activity. All painted beehives will be displayed in an ongoing Community Beehive Art Project that features decorated beehives from the community. Beehive art can be viewed in the apiaries managed by B.M. Dooney Farms located in Colton, Potsdam, and Canton.
