Let's Get Sewing! Workshop for Novice Sewers

The MHS is excited to offer a hands-on Let’s Get Sewing! workshop, led by Dawn Tiscia of Laurel Crest Creations. This beginner-friendly two-day class for students 12 and older costs $45; it will be held on July 9 and July 10, from 10 am to 12:30 pm, at the Madison Center for History & Culture at Lee’s Academy.
Participants will learn to operate a sewing machine, master basic stitches, and complete both a tote bag and a pin cushion to take home. Students should bring fabric scissors and white Gutermann 100% polyester thread (Sew-All).
