๐Ÿ‘ฅ Who is this course for?
Everyone!
No matter your age, background or where you live, this course is designed to meet you where you're at. Whether you're starting fresh or deepening existing knowledge, this PDC will equip you with practical tools to design a more sustainable and connected life.

๐ŸŒ What is permaculture?
As Bill Mollison described it:
"Permaculture is a philosophy of working with rather than against natureโ€ฆ of looking at systems and people in all their functions, and of allowing systems to demonstrate their own evolutions."

Itโ€™s not just about gardening. Itโ€™s a whole-systems approach to living ethically, sustainably, and regeneratively.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ What youโ€™ll learn:
The foundations of permaculture: ethics, principles, and patterns in nature

Core skills: reading the landscape, water harvesting, energy flows, nutrient cycling, and community systems

How to design for resilience: complete a personal design and a collaborative group design

Real-world applications: from balcony gardens to bushland, backyards to broader community projects

๐ŸŒฑ What youโ€™ll gain:
A new way of seeing the world

A deeper sense of connection to people and place

Practical skills to grow food, manage resources, and reduce waste

Cost savings on groceries and utilities

Better quality food through home-grown organic produce

A Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC)

A strong community of like-minded learners

Andโ€ฆ youโ€™ll have a lot of fun doing it!

๐Ÿ’ฌ What participants are saying:
โ€œAn enriching and transformative experience. The hands-on approach helped me understand how to apply permaculture principles in my own backyard. It also created meaningful community connections.โ€
โ€“ Sonya Forrest
