Join Merrimack Parks & Recreation for "Footprints & Fresh Air" – A Monthly Guided Walk Series
Merrimack Parks & Recreation invites you to participate in our new monthly walking program, Footprints & Fresh Air. Each month, we’ll explore one of Merrimack’s beautiful town parks or conservation areas on a guided, easy one-mile walk.
Walks will be led by Parks & Recreation Committee member Brian Landrigan. Participants will receive a trail map and a list of natural features and points of interest to observe along the way.
This program is designed to encourage community members to enjoy the outdoors, stay active, and discover some of Merrimack’s finest open spaces and natural landscapes.
2025 Walk Schedule
• May 31 – Watson Park
• June 28 – Wildcat Falls
• July 12 – Sklar Park
• August 16 – Horse Hill Nature Preserve
• September 20 – Grater Woods
• October 18 – Wasserman Park
Participation is free, and you’re welcome to join us for one walk or attend them all. Registration is requested so we can plan accordingly and provide updates, including meeting locations and any weather-related cancellations.
