There seems to be no end to the celebration of the catalogue of The Beatles. Without even thinking about ‘the hits’, the amount of songs that have seeped into our collective consciousness continues to be staggering.With that in mind, The Album Show presents “The Beatles – Album Tracks and B Sides (and some hits)”.Featuring a 4 piece band of some of the most experienced ‘Beatle performers’ in the country, the show will predominately focus on tracks that many would consider ‘second tier’ in the Beatles’ vast catalogue. But these songs are hardly obscure, with some of the most iconic tunes in the Fab Four’s catalogue getting rare live performances, mixed in with a few really obscure tracks, and enough bona fide hits to fill out an informal and complete night of Beatle tunes.
In a 2 set, 2 hour plus show, the night will give these talented musicians an opportunity to explore the catalogue of a band that continues to inspire musicians and music fans alike, in a way never witnessed before in popular music.
The Album Show is a collective of talented and experienced musicians from around the country, who, since 2020, have built over 25 ‘tribute shows’. Led by Sydney based producer/multi-instrumentalist Michael Carpenter, the collective focuses on reinventing and celebrating some of the most iconic and popular artists, albums and genres from the last few generations of contemporary music to rapturous acclaim everywhere they go around the country.
