Drop-in cemetery tending

Participants will clean grave markers, learn about symbols found on headstones, support with weeding, litter and branch pickup. Refreshments, tools, and gloves will be provided.

This program will be held at three adjacent cemetery sites including Escobar, Gresham Pioneer and White Birch cemeteries. Meet at the Metro pop-up tent at Gresham Pioneer Cemetery.

Parking: Free

All ages.

No registration required.

Pet policy: To protect plants, wildlife and people, Metro does not allow pets at most regional parks and natural areas. Seeing-eye dogs or other service animals are allowed. Please bring cleanup materials.
