Invasive Species Pull at Near Point Preserve

Join York Land Trust at Near Point Preserve (York Land Trust headquarters) and learn to confidently identify and remove two notoriously aggressive invasive plant species: Asiatic Bittersweet and Glossy Buckthorn. These two plant species are opportunists who can be seen everywhere from roadsides and backyards to forests and fields. How did they get here and why do they need to be removed? Join us and learn more during this active, hands-on event!
Participants should come prepared wearing work gloves, closed toes shoes, long sleeves and pants, and shoes suitable for hiking. Bring water and layers as needed. Tools and materials will be provided.
This workday is free and open to the public with registration. Register here: https://www.yorklandtrust.org/event/invasive-species-pull-at-near-point-preserve/
