Coiling Up Clay - Bowl Building with Kate Kaminski

Interested in getting your hands dirty and playing with some clay? Creative, but hesitant you might mess up? Want to be social with other people and have a good time? Then this class is for you! Welcome to Coiling Up Clay - Bowl Building, a relaxed and social hand-building course where you'll craft your own one-of-a-kind bowl using a variety of coil techniques and shapes.

We'll guide you step-by-step, using a mold to support your creation, so there's no way to fail — just play, learn, and enjoy the process. This is a three session class, giving you plenty of time to complete your masterpiece at your own pace.

Ages 13 and up

Hand-building Session #1
June, Tuesday 24th; 6-9pm
1st session is 3 hours of hand building

Handbuilding Session #2
June, Wednesday 25th; 6-8pm
2nd session is 2 hours of hand building

Firing Bisque Work (will be done for attendees off site)

Glazing Session #3
July, Tuesday 8th; 6-7:30
3rd session is 1.5 hour glaze session

Pick up at Ampersand Supply Co. week of July 14th (WOO HOO!)
